The new building for TROX IT consists of two cubes, each with four floors and a gross floor area of 4 × 450 m² per building.

The building impresses with its modern, light-flooded architecture with large glass façades. It is being constructed using a hybrid construction method – a combination of conventional construction and innovative elements.

Among other things, the following will be used:

• Wood-concrete composite structures

• Floor slabs in timber stack construction

• A high degree of prefabrication for efficient construction processes

The result is a sustainable, functional and future-proof new building with a strong focus on quality, indoor climate and a modern working environment.

Architecture & layout – clearly structured & functionally connected

Two modern office complexes are planned, connected by a central supply section. This central building will be constructed using conventional methods and will perform important functions, for example providing the main access to the plant, including a reception area.

IT training centre – promoting knowledge & shaping the future

A central element of the new building is the spacious IT training centre, which can accommodate training courses for up to 50 people and creates space for exchange, learning and digital development.

Design & atmosphere – open, inviting and natural

The entire ensemble is harmoniously integrated into the surrounding buildings and impresses with its open, friendly atmosphere. Plenty of daylight, natural materials such as wooden ceilings and open communication zones characterise the working environment.

Sustainability that is visible – greening & energy efficiency combined

Particular attention has been paid to sustainable construction: green roofs and a green façade are an integral part of the concept and underline the claim to an ecologically responsible, future-oriented building.
