The new factory in Huejotzingo, Puebla, comprises 11,500 m² of production space and 2,000 m² of non-production space. The project will also create more than 200 new jobs.

In addition to the production areas, the new site brings together various facilities for customers, training and product presentation. These include a Customer Experience Centre – the first of its kind in the Americas – a showroom featuring products manufactured in Mexico, the TROX ACADEMY for high-quality HVAC training, and the Air Flow Studio – the first of its kind in North America.

The project also incorporates a range of sustainable features: The factory is designed as a LEED Platinum-certified site and features, amongst other things, a solar park, smart lighting control, a water treatment plant and a rainwater harvesting system. This is complemented by green spaces with native vegetation, a new paint shop using biodegradable cleaning agents and electric ovens, as well as induction welding to reduce acetylene consumption.
