The expansion of the Curitiba site represents an important step in the long-term development of TROX in Brazil. With an investment of approximately €2 million, a 3,200 m² extension is being built to create additional production and storage capacity while also optimizing internal logistics processes. Upon completion of the project, the site will cover a total area of 20,000 m².

Relocation of the warehouse to a new facility and redesign of material flows to enable more efficient operations.
New office spaces, meeting rooms, and an auditorium promote collaboration and support internal operations.
The expansion maximizes the use of the existing site and creates the foundation for future growth.
The plant expansion includes a new building complex to which the central warehouse will be relocated. This will create additional manufacturing space for Air Handling Units (AHUs), split systems, and mini chillers. At the same time, logistics and warehouse processes will be reorganized, and the site infrastructure will be expanded.
New areas:
More Space for Production
By relocating the central warehouse to the new building, additional manufacturing space is created for Air Handling Units (AHUs), Mini-Chillers and Split Systems. At the same time, the existing plant layout is reorganised to make production processes more efficient.
Optimised Logistics and Storage
The new building brings together central logistics and storage functions at one location. These include a new central warehouse, areas for incoming goods, finished goods, chemicals and production scrap, as well as a new loading and unloading area with an overhead crane. The redesigned material flows improve internal transportation and create additional storage capacity.
Modern Work and Training Areas
A new mezzanine provides additional office space, meeting rooms and an auditorium for training sessions, presentations and internal events. This area is complemented by a TPS Operational Room serving as the central control point for the TROX Production System.
Expanded Site Infrastructure
In addition to the new production and storage areas, the expansion includes additional parking spaces as well as modern infrastructure for logistics and material handling. This includes automatic gates, an overhead crane and other equipment to support efficient operational processes.
