SPLITTER FOR EXPANDING THE CONNECTIONS T2 - T4 OF THE FAM-E CONTROL MODULE FOR TROX Oₓ SYSTEM PLATFORM

  • Direct connection of TROX components with RJ12 plugs (order designation TROX: J6) or with open cable ends
  • Supply voltage for the connected components is provided via the splitter: no separate wiring required
  • RJ12 plug can be plugged in from the outside, without opening the casing
  • 24 V variant: obtains supply voltage via the FAM-E controller

The SPL splitter is part of the TROX Oₓ platform and expands the
T2 - 4 outputs of the FAM-E control module. It enables the direct
connection of components that have been certified by TROX for
the system. These include:
4 sensors, actuators or VAV control units with RJ12
connection (order designation TROX: J6) - e.g. the TROX
TVE controller XM0-J6. The connecting cable is a 6P6C
cable with crimped-on RJ12 plugs. Maximum cable length:
30 m. Voltage supply of the connected components via the
outputs.
Sensors, actuators and VAV control units with open cable
ends. 2 screw terminal connections are available for this
purpose. The maximum cable cross-section at the screw
terminals is 1.5 mm². Maximum cable length: 30 m
The splitter is available in 2 different connection variants.
SPL-24: Supply voltage 24 V DC, supplied by FAM-E
SPL-230: Supply voltage 1~ 230 V AC, 50 Hz
The 24 V variant draws the supply voltage from the FAM-E
control unit via one of the communication outputs T2 - T4. The 24
V variant provides a maximum power of 25 W for the connected
components.
The 230 V version has an integrated power supply unit with an
output of 60 VA. The power supply unit delivers a 24 V DC
supply voltage to connected devices via the 6 connection points.
The 230 V variant provides a supply voltage for field devices
such as FAM-E or CM via 2 additional terminals. The total power
of the SPL-230 is 60 W.
