The CEO and Member of the Board of Management of TROX GmbH, Mr. Lutz Reuter, will leave the company for family reasons as of 31 August 2014. 
 
We would like to thank Mr. Reuter for his performance and his achievements and wish him all the best for the future.  
 
With effect from 1 September  2014, Mr. Michael Bauer will be appointed Chairman of the Board of Management of TROX GmbH and, in this role will have  global responsibility for sales, production, marketing and construction/security. 
 
Mr Michael Bauer was born in 1966 and began his career in 1988 when he worked as a Sales Manager for Rosenberg Inc. in Minneapolis, USA, whilst he trained to become an industrial business administrator. 
 
He then worked as Managing Director for the subsidiaries of ebm-papst Mulfingen GmbH & Co. KG in Singapore, Japan and China, with each post spanning several years. He also worked as a Sales Manager for Asia, Australia and Africa and was responsible for the EC-systems unit in his role as Business Unit Manager.
 
Before joining TROX GmbH, he worked as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for BITZER SE in Sindelfingen, Germany, for a number of years.
