Product description

Application

AS-i repeaters are used to extend the standard length of AS-i by a further 100 m or 150 m.
An existing segment of 100 m with a cable cross-section of 1.5 mm2 can thus be extended by an additional 100 metres.
An existing segment of 150 m with a cable cross-section of 2.5 mm2 can thus be extended by an additional 150 metres.
Two repeaters can be used in one AS-i line, so one line can be up to 300 m long at 1.5 mm2 or 450 m at 2.5 mm2
The total number of 31 slaves per controller cannot be exceeded
A repeater acts also as galvanic isolation of the two AS-i segments, hence providing increased safety against short circuits
Active participants (slaves) can be positioned before and after the repeater
Each repeater requires one AS-i power supply unit
