TROX and HGI: Joint service

TROX and HGI mbH, based in Hörstel, Germany, have agreed on an operative and strategic service cooperation. As a consequence, TROX GmbH will become the majority shareholder of HGI mbH.

On an organisational level TROX GmbH will temporarily bundle its service activities in the new TROX Service GmbH & Co. KG. HGI mbH will be renamed TROX HGI GmbH. The medium-term goal is to have all TROX GmbH service activities managed by the new TROX HGI GmbH.

'This is a logical step for us in order to meet our customers' requirements, which are increasing due to the ever widening AHU and system business,' explains TROX CEO Udo Jung the expansion plans. 'The newly founded company and the cooperation with HGI put TROX into an excellent position to manage the entire product life cycle for our customers. HGI, i.e. director Norbert Heger and his team, are the ideal partner thanks to their extensive building automation know-how.'

For 20 years already, HGI and Norbert Heger have been known in the industry for innovative products, solutions and services in the field of building automation. With more than sixty staff, the company designs, implements and manages ambitious projects in Germany and in many other countries. Customers include large private companies as well as the public sector. HGI implements automation projects in office as well as in industrial buildings, in research institutes and in leisure facilities. This business area is going to be expanded furthermore.
